The Chintz Facebook has kind of rendered me superfluous, so unless anyone needs this blog again it is defunct. That's all. Merry New Years, unless you're Jewish, which in case Merry Jewish New Years whenever it comes up.

the bookfair is at berkeley city college, 2050 center street between milvia and shattuck, on dec. 11th from ten till 4, and it's free. i'm really excited and i hope everybody i know will stop by and say hi. we might even do a second print run of chintz 1 just for this! also i have heard the other tablers are cool.

we really want to get chintz 3 out in time for the bookfair, and that means SUBMISSION TIME! yeah put that in caps on the blog... i doubt anybody reads it... but it makes me feel better... we don't have a theme for this issue, so anything goes, even though the general theme is fashion and it has to be d.i.y. (do it yourself or do yourself!)

Issue 2

The Hallowzine Issue is done! We've got a sample copy, just have to fix some last things, we'll have it out by next week we hope.

"this issue is 8 pages longer than the last one (bust still a dollar) and includes how tos, fiction, a comic, an article on vegan candy, makeup tutorials, and much much more including a paper doll named lisabeth death with 3 complete halloween costumes (she is the same size as brini from issue one and they can share clothes!)"

Unfortunately, not enough people paid us for the last issue. This time, we can't give you a copy unless you pay us up front (or send us concealed cash in the mail if you live far away). we also plan on selling copies to different stores and we'll make a blog post to tell you where when we know. trades are cool but check in with us. email isabel to find out where to find her or get her address

if you want to submit anything then it can't be for the halloween issue, which kinda sucks for me cause i wrote something about halloween but oh well maybe next year oh i saw fast times at ridgemont high yesterday it was really good...
